The Pemberton household was lively, comprising Trenton, three siblings (all biologically female, with one half-sister), and a backdrop of both stability and occasional upheaval. A major turning point in his young life occurred in 2016, when his grandfather passed away while Trenton was only five. The loss heavily affected him and became a pivotal event, leading to much self-discovery and kindling a desire for creative outlets. Trenton turned to the internet for solace, consuming gaming content—especially from creators like Jacksepticeye—as a way to process grief and manage sadness. During these years, he dabbled in sports, initially playing soccer before switching to baseball in first grade and continuing until the COVID-19 pandemic. He experienced the occasional mishap, such as two significant injuries resulting in broken bones. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic marked another major developmental phase for Trenton, exposing him for the first time to global news and societal issues, forever changing his outlook on the world.

Trenton’s passion for hands-on learning emerged early, with a marked affinity for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). He thrived in classes that emphasized practical, tactile engagement, earning him a spot on the A/B honor roll during his seventh and eighth grade years, despite a self-described average academic standing. While he admits to periods where school didn’t stand out as significant, his curiosity never waned. After an early exit from organized sports, Trenton refocused on intellectual pursuit—deepening his interest in NASA, space, radiation, and a broad range of engineering topics from 2021-2022. He shone in activities such as his sixth-grade talent show, where he performed a cover of 'Believer' by Smash Mouth, advancing to the top echelon of entries. Entering high school, Trenton set a clear goal to attend Central Michigan University (CMU) and earn a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He aspires to utilize his degree at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) for NASA, eager to make a meaningful impact through scientific discovery and engineering innovation.

Although young, Trenton’s story is one of both ordinary and uniquely defining moments. Inspired by his DJ father, he initially aspired to music, filled with the notion that DJs composed their own tracks. Over time, his musical ambitions evolved: he picked up guitar in 2022-2023, revived his middle school band, and took on a leadership role as lead singer and guitarist. Guided by a philosophy that genuine music is about sharing stories—not seeking money or fame—Trenton is working on the band’s first album, titled 'Legalize Truth,' featuring the opening song 'Breakthrough.' Practicality tempers ambition; he envisions keeping the band a tight ensemble of three members to facilitate travel and intimate performances. Struggles have not been limited to the creative or emotional. Trenton’s family life has faced its own storms, notably his parents’ recent divorce under painful circumstances involving his father’s alleged infidelity. Health challenges have surfaced as well, with dental issues such as a pronounced overbite, plaque, gum irritation, and overall poor dental hygiene. Yet, Trenton’s authenticity and willingness to share his flaws and setbacks only add to the compelling nature of his journey.

Trenton’s romantic and emotional life has been a journey of honest discovery and sincere connection. He openly identifies as bisexual, an identity that found early expression through the punk/emo/grunge band he joined during middle school. There, he met his boyfriend, who played rhythm guitar in the same group and was also a friend of Trenton’s sister. The strong foundation of friendship and creativity soon blossomed into a romantic relationship, enduring through the ups and downs of adolescence. Of special note, Trenton’s boyfriend is a transmasculine person—assigned female at birth but identifying as male—a fact that Trenton approaches with support and respect, highlighting his open-mindedness and compassion. The vibrancy of their relationship, rooted in mutual respect and shared musical ambition, has given Trenton both strength and insight. On the emotional front, Trenton faced the trauma of loss from an early age and coped through creative immersion and deep introspection. Recently, he experienced significant mental health challenges, including a panic attack concerning death that led to a period of existential anxiety.
