Makera Anita Mike hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Growing up in the vibrant city, she spent her formative years at Bereton Nursery and Primary school and then proceeded to Charles Dale Memorial International School for her secondary education. Her early life was characterized by a blend of peace and the dynamism of city life. Endowed with a sharp intellect and an outspoken nature, she engaged actively with her environment, both academically and socially. Her childhood was deeply rooted in Christian values, participating in numerous church events, which shaped her moral and ethical framework.

Makera's educational trajectory is both extensive and international. After completing her secondary education, she moved to the UK to pursue A-levels at Bath Academy, with an initial interest in medicine. However, her path took a turn, leading her back to Nigeria and then to Germany. In Germany, she undertook an immersive language learning journey, mastering German to C1 level before entering Studienkolleg. This foundation year prepared her for further studies, leading her to study Evidence-Based Nursing in a dual program that includes Ausbildung as a registered nurse.

Makera leads a dynamic lifestyle filled with a variety of interests and responsibilities. Her day-to-day life involves job hunting and part-time work as a nurse, while she simultaneously pursues further education in digital health and project management. She indulges in baking, creating cakes and snacks, while also preserving her childhood love for cartoons. Trivia games and music are additional passions, with aspirations to learn a musical instrument someday.

Currently, Makera is in a long-term and serious relationship, one that has lasted nearly two years. This relationship has been a cornerstone for her personal development, offering emotional support and encouragement to push beyond her limits.
