The duties of helping care for her siblings from an early age helped foster qualities of patience, leadership, and maternal affection. Taylor’s early family life was influenced by the actions and behaviors of her parents, particularly in relation to their drinking habits, causing her to forge her own distinct path and values as she matured.

Taylor attended and graduated from North Battleford Comprehensive High School (NBCHS). Her school life revolved around more than just academics; it was on the playing fields and ice rinks that Taylor truly came alive. A passionate hockey player, she was active in team sports, playing hockey throughout her high school years. Today, she cherishes her blended family, embracing the roles of mom, aunt, and stepmom. Taylor raises three children—Ace, Ryker, and Olive—alongside her partner Codie and their beloved dog, Jorja.
