Santan Dave

Santan Dave, whose full name is David Orobosa Omoregie, is a British rapper, musician, and songwriter celebrated for his contributions to the UK music scene. Known for his insightful and socially conscious lyrics, he has gained recognition with his debut EP, "Six Paths," and the award-winning album "Psychodrama."

Santan Dave was born in London, England, and grew up in Streatham, South London. He comes from a Nigerian background. Raised in a complex environment, his early life experiences in Streatham have significantly influenced his music, fostering his talent for storytelling and social commentary.

Dave attended St Mark's Academy in Mitcham for his secondary education. From a young age, he was musically inclined, learning to play piano at 14 which became important for his music. He furthered his education at Richmond upon Thames College, focusing on law, philosophy, ethics, and sound design, enhancing his intellectual and creative abilities.

Additionally, his second album, "We're All Alone In This Together," debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart in 2021.
