Gustav I of Sweden (1496-1560)
Gustav I of Sweden, also known as Gustav Vasa, reigned as the King of Sweden from 1523 to 1560. He is celebrated for successfully leading Sweden to independence from Denmark, ending the Kalmar Union, and establishing the Lutheran Church as part of the Protestant Reformation. Victor Emmanuel II
Victor Emmanuel II was the King of Sardinia from 1849 until 1861 and later became the first King of Italy, serving from 1861 until his death in 1878.
