Lisa Blevins was born in Cleburne, Texas, and spent her formative years in the close-knit rural community of Blum, just 14 miles south from her birthplace. Raised predominantly by her mother, 'Mim', alongside her sister, Lisa's childhood was shaped by both the simple joys and hearty challenges of rural Texan life. Her father, a celebrated drummer who traveled extensively, was often away, leaving Lisa's mother to hold the family together.

Lisa recalls an action-packed childhood spent on a family farm. Surrounded by all-boy cousins, she thrived outdoors, helping feed the cows, riding dirt bikes and go-carts, and playing football. These formative adventures set the foundation for her enthusiasm and energy as an adult. Whether dancing, cheering, or playing sports, Lisa was always involved—her early love for movement and activity foreshadowed the lifestyle she would later embrace.

Lisa began her formal education at Blum Elementary and continued through Blum High School. Although she left high school early, she demonstrated determination by earning her GED. Motivated to make a difference, Lisa attended Trinity Valley Community College, where she found her calling in healthcare. Excelling academically, she graduated at the top of her class, earning a 4.0 GPA and a spot on the Dean's List.

Her passion and empathy came to the fore during her time as a healthcare worker, especially in the fast-paced environment of the ER. A standout student, Lisa was praised by her instructors for her extraordinary kindness and patient care. Her journey in healthcare ended prematurely after her husband suffered a life-altering accident, prompting Lisa to leave her position to care for him at home.

During this period, Lisa embraced photography, teaching herself the art while serving as the church photographer at the Cowboys Church of Ennis. This pursuit blossomed into a 15-year career as a self-employed fine art photographer, during which she received national acclaim and several industry awards, including placing third in the world's largest photography contest—the Shoot & Share competition.

Lisa’s present-day life is a tapestry woven from all her passions and experiences. She and her husband are avid bass fishermen, often found on the lake in their boat, relishing the calm and beauty of nature. Lisa’s interests span from the traditionally 'tomboy' outdoor activities—like fishing and riding dirt bikes—to 'glamorous' pursuits such as skincare routines and beauty content creation. She finds joy in cooking, baking, and maintaining a vibrant home filled with the playful energy of their two French bulldogs.

Her professional and personal adaptability is also apparent online, where Lisa has successfully transitioned into a monetized content creator. Through her Facebook presence, she shares glimpses into her multifaceted life—from fishing trips to makeup tutorials. In 1996, Lisa met the man who would become her lifelong partner and husband. Their relationship, marked by enduring love and mutual support, has lasted over 30 years and endured some of life’s harshest tests. The couple faced a turning point when Lisa's husband was severely injured in an oil rig accident, resulting in a disability that required years of recovery. Lisa stepped into the dual roles of caregiver and provider without hesitation.

Just as her husband regained some mobility, Lisa herself was confronted with severe health battles, including a diagnosis of Lupus and Cushing’s disease, conditions that left her bedridden for years. Despite these immense challenges, the couple’s faith and commitment to each other carried them through. Lisa credits her strong relationship and spiritual beliefs for her determination to stay positive, overcome hardship, and cherish each day.

The Blevins family grew to include three sons. Lisa’s youngest son, who is autistic and has struggled with depression and anxiety, continues to live with them. Supporting his mental health journey has deepened Lisa's understanding of the scarcity of resources for young men with similar challenges, further fueling her advocacy and empathy.

Looking to the future, Lisa’s overarching dreams center on content creation and continuing to inspire others. Her vision is to grow her online audience by authentically sharing her life—the joys and struggles, as well as her beauty, skincare, and outdoor adventures.
