She attended Federal Government Girls’ College, Efon-Alaaye, Ekiti State, where she discovered a deep interest in the subject of Government. This academic focus later influenced her chosen path of study. Opeyemi pursued tertiary education at Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ogun State, graduating with a second class upper honors degree in History and Diplomatic Studies. Her university years fostered a growing commitment to education, which she attributes to a newfound passion that blossomed during her senior secondary school days. After her undergraduate studies, Opeyemi completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year in Anambra State, serving with the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs, Culture and Tourism. There, she solidified her administrative skills, working in the Administration Department. The NYSC experience further deepened her understanding of administrative processes, public service, and inter-regional engagement. Ever dedicated to personal improvement, she later attended the GIGMOF School of Mentoring under Mr. Gbenga Emiloju, undertaking courses in personal development, discovering purpose, building relationships, self-discipline, and strategic goal-setting. She has also enjoyed travel within Nigeria, including trips to Abuja where she visited notable landmarks such as the Discovery Museum, Zuma Rock Resort, Mama Africa Arts and Crafts Market, Nova Cinema, and Farm City Game Arena for activities like bowling. Through such adventures, she embraces every opportunity for learning and personal development. On the professional front, her daily role as an administrative officer involves organizing meetings, managing personnel matters, and developing adaptive communication skills—especially when relating to colleagues of diverse ages and backgrounds. Opeyemi finds her work both challenging and rewarding, viewing each day in civil service as a chance to learn and contribute, particularly in policy advisory capacities.
